At a young age I exchanged Hamont-Achel in Limburg for Antwerp to study photography there. Then I started the fashion training at the Art Academy of Sint-Niklaas, where I graduated with great distinction in 2003. A year later the famous Coral Fashion Award came my way. Life as a freelance stylist couldn't start better. The world of fashion magazines became mine. For several years I have been a permanent fixture at the weekly magazine Libelle, where you know me not only from fashion productions, but also from the many deco productions. It's wonderful how fashion and interior fill my days with visual beauty. Humor and color play an important role in my work. It challenges me to take things out of context and deal with them in a freshly accessible way. Every so often I also design unique handmade pièces under my own label "Harald Ligtvoet".
